Receiving tanks help remove water from the system by allowing the air a chance to cool. Each tank is required by law to have a pressure relief valve and/or a pressure gauge.
You can use smaller tanks for point-of-use air storage in peak-demand applications. Larger tanks have greater capacity for use in commercial and industrial applications.
